When we create a new normal type item, it will be created by default with the units format. If we wish to replace it, we must use the "Associate format" option.

Things to considerAssociating the format is not the same as a new format nor the option to add.

In this sense, by using the "associate format" option, we are not deactivating the "units" sub-item for this item, but rather we are modifying its format, which is better as we do not duplicate the sub-item.

If we modify the sub-item filter to show only the discontinued ones, we can observe that there are no discontinued ones.
