The sales hold feature will vary depending on whether we use a table screen or not. Below, we explain both cases.
If we are processing a sale, with items already on the ticket, and we want to put it on hold to return to it later, we need to click the "On Hold" button located in the upper left corner of the screen.

For this pending sale, we will have to enter a sales identifier, which can be numeric or alphabetic.

If a card is swiped as an Open Tab through the magnetic stripe reader, the card identifier is automatically saved. This makes it easier to locate a customer's pending sale.
To recover a pending sale, we have to select the option Pending Sales that appears on the receipt when there is no sale in progress.

We select the sale from the list that has the identifier we have provided. Once selected, we can continue adding items to the ticket, put it back on hold, or finalize it.

Direct pending sales allows filtering pending sales to show those belonging to the current user. We can also access pending sales that are assigned to a table.
This type of pending sales is much more visual as it allows you to see at a glance all the tables in the room, depending on whether they are occupied or free. An occupied table means it has a ticket already assigned, or in other words, a pending sale.
We select an occupied or a free table to access the ticket. The operation is similar to direct sales on hold: we select the items to add to the ticket, and then we can finalize the sale or put it back on hold.

Automatically, when we put a sale on hold, we will see the table occupied.
