HioPOS Cloud can work with up to ten kitchen printers. You can configure them from the Kitchen Printers option in the Settings menu. If the Kitchen Printers button is not visible on the Settings screen, consult your distributor, as it is an additional paid option.

Each printer has to be configured according to its corresponding printing situation. Printing situations refer to the kitchen printer where the order must be printed. In addition, you can also set which items are prepared in each kitchen situation on the item editing screen.
Kitchen printers can be configured via local network (they can be wired or wireless), via USB port, or via serial port.

First, we select the Model printer, then we add the IP address of it and the Port it uses (by default 9100). We click Test to verify its operation.

We can activate or deactivate each printer as convenient using the ON/OFF option.

Within the kitchen printer, we have the Consumption Mode option. If we activate this option, the ticket will be printed in the kitchen only with the item in large font, without informing of the corresponding order, and with information about the print time, the salesperson who printed the ticket, and the sales identifier (if using a table screen, the identifier will be room-table; if using a direct sales screen, the identifier will be the sales identifier assigned when placing the sale on hold). We show an example of the printed consumption ticket:
